We are grateful to have been able to donate $20,000 over the past four years for the benefit of Cancer Research.  We look forward to changing lives and impacting the mindset of others to be charitable and give back.  Our current crusade is to collect and raise money for school supplies to benefit grade school children in disadvantaged neighborhoods.  We are passionate about helping children feel more confident about education and the importance of making a difference. Projects The Book bag School Supply give-a-way for the 2009 school year was held in August.  It was a highly successful event which the organization has given for over twenty years now.  It was held at the Metropolitan Community Church located at 46th and Prairie.  Reverend Leon Perry is the Pastor. Our Annual Fundraiser for Cancer Research given at Mercy Hospital was very successful.  We reached our stated goals and was able to present a check to mercy hospital for $5,000.00.  We honored Mrs. Jiles Taylor-George and Reverend Phillip Cusic for their service to the community and the organization. On December 12, 2009, we held our Adopt-a-Family program.  We adopted 35 families through this program and we truly feel privileged that we were able to help some families ans some children to have a happier holiday season in celebration of Jesus' birthday.
